Fair booking rules · Updated 30 August 2026
Plans change. This policy protects the booked time without turning every cancellation into an automatic bond or hire-payment forfeiture.
Cancel at least 72 hours before the agreed handover for a refund of the amount paid, or move the booking once to an available date within 60 days.
Move the booking once to an available date within 60 days. If a refund is requested instead, M&M may deduct only documented, reasonable unrecoverable costs or loss caused by the cancellation.
For a late cancellation or no-show, M&M may retain or charge a reasonable amount for the lost booking and actual costs, up to the agreed hire charge. Any unused balance and the security bond are returned.
If severe weather, fire danger, flooding, unsafe access or another genuine safety issue prevents the hire, both parties will first arrange a free transfer to a suitable date.
If M&M cannot supply serviceable equipment, the customer receives a full refund of affected payments or may choose an equivalent credit. This does not limit any rights under consumer law.
